This legend indicates who is licensed
to download and use the software, or purchase under pricing agreements,
according to the following definitions:
F = Faculty
SF = Staff
ST = Students (All)
GS = Graduate Students
VL= Virtual Lab
Labs= Student Labs
DEPT = Departmental

| Any software listed on TigerWare covered for Faculty and Staff is also covered for lab installations, as long as the lab is owned and maintained by Faculty and Staff. |

Aquamacs Emacs 2.0pr2
Aquamacs is an Aqua-native build of
the powerful Emacs text editor. “Aqua-native,” means more than
just the fact that this version of Emacs runs as a standard OS X
application. Aquamacs features extensive customization that enables
it to conform better with Apple’s standard Human Interface Guidelines

iTeXMac is an integrated
software which components are: a text editor dedicated to D.E.
Knuth’s TeX typesetting system, a frontend to a teTeX like

Smultron is an open-
source text editor written in Cocoa for Mac OS X Panther with many of
the features that you might need. It features easy selection of the
opened documents, line numbers, support for syntax colouring for many
different languages, support for text encodings, code snippets, a
toolbar, a status bar, HTML preview, multi-document find and replace
with regular expressions, possibility to show invisible characters,
authenticated saves, command-line utility, .Mac synchronisation of

TeXShop 1.43
TeXShop is a TeX previewer for Mac OS X, written in Cocoa. Since pdf is a native file format on OS X, TeXShop uses "pdftex" and pdflatex" rather than "tex" and "latex" to typeset; these programs in the standard teTeX distribution of TeX produce pdf output instead of dvi output. F/SF/ST |
