PLEASE NOTE: ArcGIS Desktop is being retired in 2025, and the main client will transition to ArcGIS Pro. Pro will include the functionality of Desktop along with additional up-to-date features. We would recommend utilizing Pro and transitioning in 2024 for the best experience. 

Further licenses will not be generally available for ArcGIS Desktop in 2025; please reach out to software@lsu.edu if there are any issues with the transition.

ArcGIS Pro is the latest professional desktop GIS from Esri. With ArcGIS Pro, you can view, explore, analyze, edit, and share your maps and data. An ArcGIS Pro project can contain many maps and layouts as well as tables, charts, and other items.

ArcGIS Pro is available offline via this offering, however it is also available through online apps within the browser at https://lsu-its.maps.arcgis.com.
