MOML FCIL affords online access to historical foreign and international legal resources found at the largest and oldest repositories. It is used to promote legal education and scholarship by students, faculty, and legal scholars. There is no feasible alternative – this is a unique, stand-alone, resource compiled from many individual original print products. Without MOML: FCIL, Library patrons would not have access to these resources since the original print materials are rare historical documents and cannot be used in many cases without visiting the holding libraries throughout the United States in person.
The Law Library purchased perpetual access to the content provided through MOML FCIL in 2014, and this payment is only the annual hosting fee.
